All data processing companies are contractually bound to treat your data confidentially and only to process it within the service provisions. Should a legal obligation arise, public bodies and institutes may have access to your personal data.


How long is your data stored and processed?

For the duration of the entire business relation (from the initiation through the transaction until the completion of the contract) beyond that in accordance to the legal duty to preserve records and of documentation, and as long as there is justified commercial interest.

If you contact us in regard to a quote, customer service request, or for another reason via the contact form on our webpage, email, fax, telephone, SMS, or Whatsapp, we will store your data together with your inquiry and will not pass on this information without your consent.


Use of personal data by selecting Klarna as payment method

Once you have decided on Klarna’s payment service Klarna invoice as payment option, you have agreed, that we levy and convey the following personal data necessary for the handling of the purchase on account and an identity and credit check such as first and last name, address, birthdate, sex, email address, telephone number as well as the data necessary for the handling of the purchase on account, which is in the context of the order, such as the quantity of items, item number, amount invoiced and taxes in percentages. The conveyance of these data takes place so that Klarna can issue an invoice and perform an identity and credit check for the handling of your purchase in accordance with your desired invoice processing. Thereby Klarna has, according to the Federal Data Protection Act, a legitimate interest in the conveyance of the personal data of the customer and needs these in order to obtain information for the purpose of the identity and credit check from the credit reference agency. In the course of the ruling on the explanation, implementation or termination of the contractual relationship, Klarna levies and uses apart from an address check also information on the previous payment performance of the customer as well as probability values of the customer’s future behaviour. Klarna’s calculation of the score is based on a scientifically recognised statistical mathematics procedure. Klarna will use your address data along with this. Should the calculation show, that you are not creditworthy, Klarna will inform you about this immediately.


Which data protection rights do you have?

• have the right to obtain information, to amend, to delete or to restrict the processing of your saved data

• have the right to data transfer in compliance with the requirements of the data protection regulation
